China's GDP expanded 4.9 percent year on year in the third quarter and grew 5.2 percent year on year in the first three quarters of 2023, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Economists said the higher-than-expected growth is a sign of resilience in Chinese economy and China has ample policy space to boost economic growth.
