COX'S BAZAR, Bangladesh, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- People in Bangladesh's southeastern Cox's Bazar district are busy drying fish in the traditional way. Mid-October to mid-February is the peak fish drying season when open-air drying using sun and wind has been done since ancient times.
Cox's Bazar, situated along the Bay of Bengal, is a major hub for dry fish processing in the South Asian country and involves thousands of coastal population.
