So 10 years have passed, but we understand that its relevance is increasing rather than decreasing," said Anatoly Torkunov, president of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
On March 22, 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at MGIMO, expounding on the concept of "a community with a shared future for mankind" to the international community.
Torkunov said that based on Xi's speech, "today there is a rather grand, comprehensive concept of how to build this community of a common destiny, already formulated in subsequent speeches of the president."
