BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted near coast of northern Chile at 1008 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 83.9 km, was initially determined to be at 24.57 degrees south latitude and 70.14 degrees west longitude. ■
