BEIJING, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake rattled Subei County of Jiuquan City in northwest China's Gansu Province, at 10:55 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 9 km, was monitored at 39.3 degrees north latitude and 97.27 degrees east longitude, the CENC said. ■
