Ownership & Leadership
a big benefit of project management on a project is that someone owns & drives the delivery through it’s lifecycle, boosting internal stakeholder confidence. Externally the PM is often felt to be the customer’s representative building customer confidence in the project (if relevant). Having this single point of contact greatly improves communication whose absence is proven to be one of the biggest causes of project failure.
